Why?    Boundaries are not just a “nice” to have.  They are not an *optional* add-on to a healthy lifestyle.  They are part of the foundational constructs.

As in, boundaries are not an aperitif –

they are the MAIN course that keeps you nourished, whole and balanced

... and can literally mean the difference between thriving and holding your own OR, feeling like you’re barely surviving and filled with angst, resentment or both.

Although invisible, boundaries are those essential life lines that separate us physically, mentally and emotionally from the external world.

They fulfill our human need for ORDER.

Boundaries protect and sustain our LifeForce Energy. 🔥

They define and promote our identity, and they keep our dignity intact. They are also a highly effective communication skill, and as a Leader, it's time to set them even more effectively. 

What happens when you DON’T set boundaries?

A LACK of boundaries has a HUGE impact on your emotional, mental and physical wellbeing —

and this has been proven scientifically!*

Lacking proper boundaries has been linked to greater depression, anxiety, stress, and unhealthy relationships. 😔

Surprised?  I bet not!

Take a minute to think of time when you didn’t set proper boundaries.

How did you feel?  

What was your mental & emotional state like?

 What kind of thoughts were on repeat in your mind?

Maybe you thought one (or more) of the below:

  • “I’m so overwhelmed
  • “I have no time for myself”
  • “How did things get so out of control?”
  • “This job is sucking the life out of me”
  • “I feel like my boss has no respect for my time
  • “I just need to get through this project so I can think clearly again”
  • “My family doesn’t appreciate all I do.”
  • I never have any energy to put towards my personal goals”

Due to our upbringing in Western society and conditioning of how a woman “should be,” we often unconsciously get so caught up in meeting the needs of others

… it can be difficult to hear our own needs and desires.

(Believe me, I’ve been there too many times to count!)

👉 You realize too late that you should have said “No” instead of “Yes.” 

👉 You only realize after the fact that you said “yes” not out of your true desire, but instead the need to please others. Or out of fear

👉 Then you end up feeling resentful, burnt out, and your self-respect deteriorates, and the same cycle repeats again and again. Ugh.

 So how do we put an END to this unhealthy cycle...

1) Understanding your DEEPER WHY

The first step to transformation is AWARENESS.


DIGGING UP EMOTIONAL ROOTS:

In this intensive masterclass, we’re going to dig into the reasons why we say “yes” when we actually mean “no.”

You’ll get a deeper understanding of WHY it’s hard for you to set and keep your boundaries, and why you might experience uncomfortable feelings like guilt around saying “no.”

RESOLVING CONFLICT OF INTEREST:

We’ll also uncover which parts of you are really running the show & where there might be a conflict of interest among the different parts of you, so that we can get them working in harmony again & protecting your own wellbeing.

LETTING GO OF RESISTANCE

We’ll also learn what you should do when you’re feeling resistance to saying “NO” and how to get to the root of the why (hint: this is where the transformational gold is!)


 

2) Communication Tools: Magical Phrases & more!

ARTICULATING BOUNDARIES:

Until you can articulate a boundary, you can’t actually have one. So we’re going to practice doing just that!

We’re going to practice what to say, when to say it, and how to say it.

If you’re familiar with my classes, you already know you’ll be getting LOADS of powerful Magical Phrases to help you lead with a soft heart and a firm spine. (Yep, you don’t need to be mean to set boundaries!)

✅ THE TYPES of BOUNDARIES:

Not every boundary is the same. So we’ll learn different ways to set boundaries, whether it’s a “no”, or whether you simply need to change the terms or stand up for yourself – while still keeping the conversation respectful.

We’ll go over real-life examples in both professional and personal contexts – and as always, I welcome your specific questions so you can walk away feeling confident to tackle your next tough conversation!

In a professional context, we’ll answer questions like,

"How do I set a boundary so that it’s clear I'm still committed to my team’s success, but at the same time I'm making it clear I'm not willing to be taken advantage of?"

"How do I speak up for myself, EVEN in the type of work culture where management is pressuring us to grind around the clock & it’s implied that it’s required to keep my job?"

👉 We’ll learn magical phrases that reinforce your commitment, while ALSO not accepting abuse or pressure.

3) Internal Boundaries, Somatic Tools & more!

✅ BOUNDARIES WITH ME, MYSELF & I:

Another important subject when it comes to boundaries is your INTERNAL boundaries – the boundaries you set with yourself. (Um, helloooo, procrastination! 😉)

We’ll learn why these boundaries with yourself are essential to building up your confidence before you can uphold your boundaries with others.

We’ll learn how to identify when you’re leaking your energy into “Emotional Labor,” meaning the act of trying to keep others around you comfortable & happy (when this is actually not your responsibility and keeps you drained and resentful.)

✅ MIND-BODY TECHNIQUES:

We’ll also learn proven somatic techniques to help you work through your body’s physical discomfort when saying ‘No’.

Many of us have had experiences at different points in our lives that have taught us that it’s “not safe” to stand up for ourselves, push back, uphold our boundaries, etc.

The bad news is that this is hard-wired into our nervous systems and makes it very uncomfortable to say “no.” The GOOD news is, however, that it is absolutely possible to rewire ourselves to feel safe setting boundaries.
